What is a Sports Volunteer? 

Our sports volunteers will play a pivotal part in promoting and championing the Moray Sports Centre in the community. 

 

To become a sports volunteer, you can give as much time as you like. You do not have to have a specific skill set. We hold a wide range of opportunities, where you can utilise your skills and develop them further.

What’s involved?​​

  • To promote, attend and support Moray Sports Centre events, competitions and festivals

  • Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to at all times

  • To attend regular volunteer development meetings

  • To communicate with the management team, other volunteers and coaches about Moray Sports Centre

  • Always be receptive and welcome to contractors, staff and other volunteers

  • Collect informal feedback at every opportunity

  • Report feedback to line manager or coaches

  • Suggest new and improved ways of collecting feedback and evaluating effectively

The role will suit people who
