Sports Development Manager
Victoria (Tori) brings a variety of skills to Moray Sports Centre following 6 years’ experience at Aberdeen Sports Village. Whilst studying Sports Studies at the University of Aberdeen, Tori started her employment at Aberdeen Sports Village in the Operations Team assisting with a variety of daily procedures to major events. From there she progressed to the customer service team before moving on to the administration team where she developed a strong understanding for the back office leisure systems and continued to enhance her customer service skills. Tori then moved to a Sports Development Executive position at ASV focusing particularly on the development of children's programmes, disability sport, NHS and partnership incentives to name a few.
Tori was brought up in Elgin and attended Elgin High School before heading off to University. She is therefore excited to bring all she has learnt in Aberdeen to Moray to help create opportunities for all ages and abilities in her home town.
She is a keen gym goer and enjoys a mixture of exercises from weightlifting to HIIT classes. Tori previously played football in the Scottish Women’s Premier League, but now prefers to watch the game including sports such as rugby, tennis and athletics. Following on from playing football, Tori decided to challenge herself and run her first marathon in aid of charity. After she said she would never do another one, she ran the London Marathon shortly after! In addition to the gym, Tori enjoys long walks with her pup along the beach or hill walking.
