Five fun ways to keep fit at home right now

Doesn’t it just feel like Groundhog Day at the moment? Being stuck inside the house all day. Work. Eat. Sleep. Repeat. But staying at home shouldn’t mean missing out on keeping fit. No matter the weather outside or if you have access to a garden, there’s always a solution! So why not break up the boredom of your day with the following activities... Cardio

The range of cardio exercises you can do at home is endless, whether it’s skipping, star jumps or squats. So get your family or partner involved and challenge each other whilst working out! Needing some inspiration? Our instructor Chantal has uploaded some tutorials to help you get the blood pumping.

Cycling

We can all agree that we are lucky to be surrounded with such gorgeous scenery in our local communities. So an afternoon at the weekend is well worth the time to explore this through cycling. Sustrans and Ordnance Survey are excellent resources for finding a variety of local routes with different distances. Dancing

If you’re looking for a chilled and gentle way to ease out of work mode, then check out our instructor, Sam M’s Pilates-Yoga session. By focusing on your breathing and stretching you can free your headspace from any worries. Aside from that, it can also be a great way to warm up or cool down from any other workouts.

Getting out and having a breath of fresh air is another effective method to clear your mind.
