Our Disability sessions are now running and there is something for everybody and every ability.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

 

Sensory tots

Our sensory tot's classes offer a friendly and relaxed environment for children aged up to 5 years with a disability to develop fine motor skills and be introduced to a range of sports in a fun and interactive way by using engaging themes and eye-catching equipment. 

Multi-Sports and Boccia Club

Our Multi-Sport session offers children and teenagers the opportunity to learn and experience a range of sports including athletics, badminton, basketball, boccia, circuits, football, rugby, short tennis and uni-hoc. This session will be a great way to develop physical and social skills while enjoying various different sporting activities.

 

Disability netball – MSC Net-Able

Net-Able is an adapted and accessible version of netball for individuals with disabilities. Net-Able is a great way to play the game of netball at a slower pace, using modified rules and court. 

 

MSC Adaptable Bikes

Our adaptable bike sessions offer an opportunity for children and adults to learn and develop their cycling ability by using coordination and balance skills. We have a range of adaptable bikes to use within the session to suit a range of disabilities. Pre-booking is essential for this session so that the coaches have an understanding of the individual's disability and specific needs prior to the session. All equipment will be provided.

 

MSC Family Adaptable Bike Sessions

The MSC Family Adaptable Bike Sessions is a fantastic opportunity for the whole family to get involved in learning and developing their cycling skills in a fun and inclusive session. Cycling skills will be developed through a range of run games and activities where there will be something for the whole family to enjoy. Pre-booking is essential for this session so that the coaches have an understanding of the individual's disability and specific needs prior to the session. All equipment will be provided.

 

MSC Boccia Club

Boccia is a target sport which is played indoor. Boccia is a fully inclusive Paralympic Sport and offers an opportunity for people who may have various disabilities to practice and compete together. Our MSC Boccia Club will focus on learning the game of Boccia in a fun, imaginative and engaging way through practising the skills needed for Boccia within various games and finishing off with some friendly competitive games of Boccia. MSC Boccia club is ideal for wheelchair users and individuals with cerebral palsy, learning disabilities and acquired age-related disability.

 

MSC Family Boccia

Our MSC Family Boccia sessions is a brilliant opportunity for the whole family to enjoy the Paralympic sport of Boccia. The session will comprise of fun and engaging games that work on the various skills needed to play Boccia as well as some friendly competitive games of Boccia.

 

Disability Futsal

Disability futsal offers a great opportunity to learn the FUNdamentals of the sport through drills and games. Futsal is played with a smaller, low bounce ball and unlike other forms of indoor football, the court is determined by lines and walls are not used.
