Mike At Driving Range

Hitting the target for accessible and inclusive sports.

A fun and rewarding sport, one of the few that can be enjoyed by everyone.  Anyone from the age of 8 can do archery.  It is possibly the only sport where beginners can compete next to an Olympian!

Archery For All

This sport can challenge everyone whether it be for recreation, friendship, teamwork, a mental and physical challenge or to develop your competitive side – archery has something to offer you.  It is a sport enjoyed by many people with all age groups, physical attributes and fitness levels taking part.

While moderate fitness levels are no bar to achievement and enjoyment of the sport, those seeking high performance undertake comprehensive core fitness and weight training programmes.

During the winter months, our local Archers need an indoor training facility that is approximately 30 meters in length to enable them to practice without the added challenges of the inclement weather.  Our facility will cater for their needs and continue to introduce and develop archers of all abilities.

What does MSC mean for Archery?

  • As athletes, the MSC offers a ‘One Stop Shop’ for our own training and development.
  • As a coach, the MSC means modern facilities and an environment to develop local talent and help them become future champions.
  • As Archers, we’ll have the opportunity to Grow and promote our sport, and to become a venue for Regional & National competitions.  This puts Moray in a prominent position on a national sporting Map.

Overall, we see that this benefits everyone and not just our sport.  MSC means having a modern, accessible facility here in the heart of Moray with the capacity and capability to support a wide range of sports and other physical activities.
